Why Social Networks and Gen-Y Hookup Culture May Eventually Replace Porn (Hypothetical Masturbation)

sex key (1)

Among my observations, common sense and my own participation, I have come to terms that there is a huge possibility that adult-oriented social networks (Facebook included – thanks to “secret” sexual Facebook groups), Gen-Y hook-up culture and secret sexual societies will eventually replace pornography. We already know that monogamy is on the decline in Western culture (the divorce rate remains around 60% and – as Dissention mentioned previously – Gen-Y women are only interested in having sex with a very small percentage of the male population. This will only escalate by the time Gen-Z men and women become of an adult age).

The reasons are self-explanatory and this is solely based on the fact that with the success of modern technology (including internet usage, along with the creation of smartphones and smartphone apps), we have also become a more sexualized culture, in this post-feminism society. I know people will disagree with me, based on the assumption that pornography will never fade away from existence. While this is true, others know that the quality of life is not exactly what it used to be and many young people (under age 35) prefer to engage in real-life interactions and actually happen to embrace life more than the previous generation (even going as far as embracing memes such as “Y.O.L.O.” – an acronym for “You Only Live Once”).

Money, sex and wisdom are three things that will never change. Be that as it is, technology and trends DOES change and it changes humanity. If you do not believe me, take a look at how computers, smartphones and machinery replaces not only human labor, but human interaction. Porn is certainly no exception and by saying this, I do not mean the extinction of VHS, thanks to DVDs. DVDs are also being replaced with Video On Demand, porn-oriented smartphone apps and online porn, which is usually free of charge (unless you join a direct membership to websites where you can download your favorite porn sex scenes, which is not as costly as X-Rated Adult VHS tapes and DVDs are – over $30 per video). The same has happened when it comes to books: People do not read books as much as before, unless they are students in academia, or those who thirst knowledge (which is widely available on the internet). Books are becoming extinct thanks to the internet and Kindle, which is why bookstores, such as Border’s, have gone out of business.

There was a time when the porn industry made more dough than general entertainment. Now with porn becoming virtual, sales and general interests in porn may eventually decline, just as monogamy and LTRs are being replaced with casual sex hookups, pooning and mongering. This is actually a brilliant thing, in my view of things.

The Evolution of Gen-Y Hookup Culture

Generation Y (anyone born between the early 80s to the mid 90s) does not consume as much porn as the previous generation. Even those who consume porn today may eventually alleviate it altogether tomorrow, unless they stupidly enjoy watching sex than having it. Generation Z may eventually follow the same path and prefer the real thing over televised sex. The younger generation of men and women are more interested in attending clubs, hookup outlets and secret sexual societies – not to mention the elevating interest in video games, sports, travel, Skype, Tango, Facebook, etc.

With websites such as FB (which contains secret, adult-oriented groups where women advertise themselves sexually), Adult Friend Finder, Fetlife and even escort ads, women use these websites to showcase their sexuality while unconsciously catering to their own vanities and egos, which in turn creates stampedes and hordes of men who will attempt to get to know these women on various levels (platonic, carnal or otherwise). Those men who are not fortunate or desirable enough to hookup with these women will only remain window shoppers.

There are many success stories of men and women who hook up for drinks or sex, only to take photos or make videos of their encounters, posting them on various social network forums and groups. I have had a few success stories and I observe how a variety of alpha males and females have driven or flew from state to state to meet someone just to… you know, fuck! While some women only play and tease their male fans, some hookup with only a chosen few and keeping quiet about it. Others go as far as rubbing it into everyone else’s faces, reducing the emotional state of these men into that of unwilling cuckolds. Just like women make up the majority of America’s consumers, women use social networks more than men.

Only a desirable and paramount few will get to fuck these women.  For those who do not have that luxury, they remain lustful. All it takes is right clicking or manually saving/downloading pictures of your favorite women who take pride in posting ‘selfies’ and bathroom pics – who you either talk to or lust after – whether or not you can actually drive or fly to meet that person. This is far more superior and realistic to cheap (pornographic) thrills, uselessly self-pleasuring yourself to actors and actresses who are faking it.

Interacting with people online can beat porn and clubbing (which both may eventually turn out to be a total waste of time and money). Masturbating to porn may be a great substitute for LTRs and Monogamy as Dissention once stated, but in the end, we only end up fucking ourselves and possibly becoming creepy. I’ve previously mentioned how chronic masturbation destroys sex for men and women. Nightclubs? Unless you are a thug or game-runner, you’ll only end up with a hard dick, an empty wallet and fake phone numbers.

When it comes to sex, Gen-Y and most young persons under the age of 40 would prefer interactions with real people, plus the fact that it gives us all realistic goals and possibilities instead of fantasy (though some social network frequenters are pathological liars, selling dreams to themselves and others). Porn has already depicted every possible and unnatural sexual act known to man, from group sex to, unfortunately, incest. Therefore, it does not excite even the most jaded porn viewer as much as it has years ago. This is unhealthier than the average 20-something who spends three hours daily glued to their iPhone or Facebook profiles.

Hypothetical Masturbation

Now let me clarify this, before I continue: I am not saying porn will cease to exist because it is, after all, an occupation for the actors and actresses involved. Plus, there are always those who are either undesirable or too burned-out from high-stress occupations and old age to engage in successful encounters with other adults, in addition to teenagers entering puberty who will sneakily view porn in some form or fashion without exchanging currency for it.

Social network hookups (including classy or raunchy sexual photos posted by women, buy their own admission, in order to attract men or gain attention) does not equate to porn. Twerk videos also does not count as pornography. On YouTube, DailyMotion, Facebook or any social network, any woman can post a video shaking her ass vigorously for male or female attention. Some of her subscribers, fans or male friends on her friends’ list may eventually have contact with her, be it by text, Skype, Oovoo, phone or even face-to-face – providing he is a guy who she is attracted to in some way. For the other guys who she has no personal interest in, she will only tease them, which turns into self-masturbation or hypothetical masturbation. By ‘hypothetical masturbation’, I mean men acting out of desperation, arousing themselves by making sexual comments on her posts or her profile, or begging for her attention – which gives these women a possible sense of entitlement. Call it myopia, bedevilment and thirstiness at best.

Even though the women will only fuck very few men, all men eventually thirst her attention. And guess what? Unlike pornographic gadgets and frequenting escorts, it’s free of charge. Although escorts have prices, browsing through escort ads are almost the same (It’s called ‘shopping for pussy’).

For men, it is more than hypothetical masturbation to get her attention. In our feminized society, men can go out of their way to pose for women, as if he is some sort of metrosexual or a corny Playgirl model. Although other men can be themselves, others practice ‘game’ to snag her attention and possibly get into her panties. For those who are undesirable, the internet has also become a safe haven. Thus, fake profiles are created, fake personalities are earthed up like mythical characters who read by scripts and this is where the Reality TV show Catfish comes from. In regards to creepy, thirsty guys and attention cockteasers, they are on the rise, which also brings merit to my argument. As a result, women frequent social media and hookup websites far more than men. As a result to that, men in Western culture is drowning with mediocre women with false senses of entitlement.

How did we get to this?

You may ask yourself “How did we get to this?” It certainly did not start with the birth of Adult Friend Finder or MySpace (which a segment of our generation previously used to find hookups, though MySpace never even remotely tolerated provocative photographs). Some women have always had a false sense of self-worth due to self-inflicted narcissism. Poon hounds who try to fuck everything in sight add more to this problem. And let’s face it, some of us are so hypersexed to where we watch porn in addition to real-life interactions (be it physical or virtual interactions with other human beings). Maybe this started with the disturbing sex lives of teenagers (which is more disturbing than teenage sexting), which became rampant somewhere in the 1990s (some of which I have witnessed). And this will get passed on to the generations after us, providing the new generation does not alter new trends.

In an age of social network obsession where women are showcasing or throwing pussy at men higher than the female audience at a Lil Wayne concert, why should you waste your time and money on mindless trash, such as porn and Kindle books and blogs about “game”? That is, unless you are financially devoid, or an unattractive bastard whose stomach looks like the letter B from a side angle.

  1. ‘sales and general interests in porn may eventually decline’

I dont agree with this at all. Most WILL prefer a night with a real women, but you have said it yourself, most women are trash. Why spend money, time, focus trying to get a mediocre women, who you may or may not get, and have a few minutes of fun, when you could see a hotter girl online, be done with it and move on? Of course a hot women is preferable, but if you choice is a fat, slutty, cunty, bitchy etc girl or porn, most guys will choose porn.

Sales in porn has already declined, thanks to the fact that online porn is free and does not cost as much as buying a porn on DVD. But I see a generation of people who prefer interactions with real people instead of overindulging in pornography. Even for those who are not fortunate to fuck a real woman (or an escort), they may interact with real women who have social networking profiles, lusting after semi-nude photos of her. I see it a lot.

On the other hand, I agree that masturbating to porn is better than marriage, whore-chasing and LTRs. Me? I stopped watching porn 3 years ago and enjoy interacting with selective females, whether they are online or in R/L. If a chick acts shitty, I cut her ass loose and make her realize I’m not the one to be played with.
